McNeill Hotel Company (MHC) has announced the appointment of Kim Knop as its Director of Business Development. In her new role, Knop will collaborate with investor and ownership groups as MHC expands its third-party property management portfolio. This strategic move aligns with MHC’s goal to add 25 to 50 hotels under management in the next 3 to 5 years.
Kim Knop, currently serving as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at MHC, brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the hotel industry. Her background includes roles with MASTER Hospitality in Memphis, TN, where she worked alongside MHC Co-Founder Mark Ricketts. Knop has also excelled as an award-winning Area Director of Sales for Marriott International.
Having joined McNeill Hotel Company in 2015, Knop has played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid growth and successful property management platform. Her contributions have significantly impacted various aspects, including operating revenues, guest satisfaction, and award-winning performances within renowned brand families such as Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt.
As Director of Business Development, Knop will work closely with MHC President Travis Murray and report directly to Brent McDowell, the Executive Vice President of Business Development for McNeill Investment Group. Her responsibilities will extend beyond sales and marketing to encompass training, e-commerce initiatives, and community engagement, reflecting MHC’s commitment to holistic hospitality excellence.
